Parekh’s new mandate will take effect from July 1, 2022 to March 31, 2027. Shareholder approval is required for it, the company said.
Parekh was at the helm of

He has more than thirty years of global IT services experience with a solid track record of driving digital transformation for business, performing corporate turnarounds, and managing successful acquisitions, says a company statement.
Prior to Infosys, Parekh was a member of Capgemini’s Group Executive Board. There, he worked in a variety of leadership positions over a period of 25 years.
He was also a partner of Ernst & Young. He has been acclaimed for adding dimension to the company’s Indian operations.

Parekh holds a Masters in Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. You have a Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
