The LaGrange College baseball player died in an accident

LAGRANGE, Georgia – LaGrange College is mourning the loss of two baseball players after a car crash Saturday night.

According to a statement on the school’s athletics page; Stefano Bartolotta Other Jacob Brown they were both killed.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred around 9:15 pm on Saturday night and involved three vehicles. Another person was killed in the incident, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The news comes as a severe blow to the team, like a few hours before won their conference championship with a win over North Carolina Wesleyan, which earned him a spot in the NCAA Division III National Tournament, according to a school tweet.

“As we all work to process this tragedy, please take care of each other,” said college president Dr. Susanna Baxter said in a statement.

The school plans to meet on Sunday to cry.

“We will go through it together as a campus family with God as our strength. Please support each other as the caring community that I know we are,” Dr. Baxter added.
