humsafar: Humsafar will expand diesel home services in 200 cities

Bombay: Start of diesel home services Humsafar India Thursday said it plans to expand its services to 200 more cities across the country this fiscal year in an effort to gain a higher market share in the segment.

The company also said it is looking to venture into the charging stations for electric vehicles business and is negotiating with some companies.

The company offers services in approximately 100 cities across India. The company said in a statement that it has devised a strategy to further penetrate the market as well as seek opportunities in overseas markets.

He also said that the company’s recently launched product “Safar”, a 20-liter tamper-proof metal canister, received an overwhelming response in a short time, selling more than 30,000 containers in the previous fiscal year.

“We have developed a strategy to further penetrate the market and expect to double the numbers this year and are looking forward to exporting it,” he said.

Additionally, Humsafar’s intelligent static diesel storage launched late last year has found acceptance in the market and the company plans to do business briskly targeted at segmented customers during the current fiscal year, he added.
