As we told you Wednesday, the Democrats’ Women’s Health Protection Act was barred from moving forward after a 51-49 vote in which Democratic Senator Joe Manchin joined the Republicans to eliminate the bill.
After the vote, Senator Elizabeth Warren complained about the “minority settlement”:
.@SenWarren: “I believe in democracy and I don’t think the minority should have the ability to block the things the majority wants to do. It’s not in the Constitution. […] It’s time to get rid of the filibuster. ” https://t.co/2tBTIfvv2q pic.twitter.com/UwZuKxrotg

Um, who wants to tell him?
The bill received only 49 votes. This is a minority. Raju stands there and lets her go with this. https://t.co/A3OCnVuCPi

Did a reporter let Warren get away with that statement unchallenged? There’s no way!
The bill didn’t get majority support, you fool.

Warren clearly hopes that the dark Democratic base agrees and makes a lot of noise on the basis of total BS. The media will no doubt help Warren in this endeavor.
“majority” is a fun word to use to describe a 49-51 vote. https://t.co/NmjY9avwbM

Yet Warren will continue to do so and the media will not go out of their way to point out what should be obvious.
